I’ve been hesitant to ask this because I thought it was related to the endometrosis and the chronic pain I have with it, but now I’m not entirely so sure. I’ve been having chronic back pain for over 6 months now. It hurts in my lower back, in the middle and radiates out to the sides and to my hips and sometimes to my thighs. Tonight is has been especially, VERY painful and I didn’t do anything to bring this on, no different lifting things, always sit right, etc. I am fairly active, and the only other ‘physical’ ailments that I suffer from are the endometrosis and migraines. The back pain is nonexistent in the morning, starts forming in the afternoon and is excruciating in the evenings and it usually feels better, but is still there when I lay down to sleep. I am on vicodin, but it doesn’t do anything for the back pain and I was just hesitant to tell this to my obgyn specialist because I didn’t know if it was related and was also afraid to tell my family doctor because I have medicaid/Univera (NY state) and they don’t cover chiropractic care in NY state (it would be out of pocket because I think my social worker told me that medicaid thinks people with back pain are lazy, so they make people pay out of pocket), so I couldn’t get treatment for this anyways if it is true back pain. I am a 26 year old female, I am six foot tall and weigh 200 and I am of athletic build, btw. Does it sound like it is related to the endometrosis or is it true back pain? Who should I mention this to? What can I do to treat this at home? Thanks! <><
