Posted by: | Comments
See more at: invisiblediseases.com ….. Join the FACEBOOK GROUP here: www.facebook.com ….. Mark your calendars, and get ready! June 6th marks the Day of Visibility! We, as a community, will unite. Get together in your homes, offices, support groups etc. and join your Invisible Diseases community to unify and raise VISIBILITY! Invisible Diseases are often thought of as just making people really tired. -If only that was the worst of it! You want to know what we are tired of? We are tired of the majority of medical doctors sending us home for depression! We are tired of being shunned from our friends and families! We are tired of waiting and waiting as we grow weaker and weaker! We are tired of this constant internal pain and suffering! We are tired of being humiliated! Let us put our invisibility to sleep and awaken our voices! Have a party of thousands, or a party of one. In the end, we will unite as a party of millions across the globe. Many people cannot get together with other people, due to their level of debilitation. However, we will be united in spirit and camaraderie! We have one day that we are setting aside to make the biggest VISIBLE splash ever before, in honor of Invisible Diseases! ***HERE’S THE PLAN… June 6th is the official Day of Visibility! We, as a community, will spend June 6th preparing postcards and letters to send to everyone that we can, telling them our stories; telling them how they can help; telling them thank you for their support; telling …

Fibromyalgia and the Guaifenesen Protocol- Reply
Posted by: | Comments
Hello- this video response is in answer to the question I received from Emily regarding fibromyalgia and the guaifenesen protocol. I hope this is helpful to you. The websites that I mention in my response are: www.fibromyalgiatreatment.com. This is the official website of the non-profit group that provides information to folks interested in learning more anout the guai protocol. There is an excellent support group there, (the Guai Group.) I belong to that support group. I keep a blog off of my website, (www.surfercouple.com), detailing my own experiences of what it’s been like being on the guaifenesen protocol. I won’t lie to you– it’s not easy. You have to get worse before you can get better, and when you’re already sick with fibromyalgia, the last thing you want to do is feel worse! However, there is a huge upside, you do actually get better. By the time you are done with the cycling portion of the protocol, you will be about 99% symptom-free. (The only thing you can’t reverse is any damage done to your body by fibromyalgia-related osteoarthritis. That’s permanent.) I estimate the cycling portion of the protocol will take three years for me, and I’ve been on it two and a half years now. I’m almost done. Thank goodness. Now, I’m trying to help others considering the same path.
