    Please help!?

Posted by: admin | Comments (4)

I underwent a root canal March ‘07 for # 20. After which I was constantly complaining about a shooting pain. My general Dentist told me that it’s a normal inflammation symptom and ignored in spite of various visits. He suggested teeth No 19 needs root canal treatment and that could be a cause of my tooth ache. He referred me to an endodentist. 2 week back, i got #19 root canal and just after 4 days the pain came back (this time was worse) & with a swelling. I can’t eat, sleep or talk. After consulting the endodentist, he suggested that the earlier tooth #19, needs a retreatment as it wasn’t done right the first time and I got that done day before yesterday. I am in horiible pain (hardly can speak), swelling has worsened- its from lips till upper cheek and neck. I am taking strong painkillers+ antibotics but the effect is hardly there. What should I do? I’ve asked the endodentist, he says it is a classic symptom. Please help and I am ready to do whatever to get out of this pain. Tks
Sorry the retreatment was done for teeth no. 20 (which was treated in March’07) and not teeth no. 19. Sorry for the confusion and will be glad if any of the experts in this forum can offer any help.

    Can reflexology help back/shoulder pain?

Posted by: admin | Comments (2)

What are some other treatments for back pain that have worked for you? I tried physical therapy, chiropractor…I even went to a spine specialist but he was a moron. My pain is mostly in my lower right shoulder…a sharp pain that feels worse when it’s cold outside.

    Leg Pain – Please help!?

Posted by: admin | Comments (4)

I’ve had leg pain in my left left off and on for over a year and a half. It gets worse when I exercise. Symptoms:

    ~ Only left leg
~ Pain seems to generate in the back thigh region and shoots up into my butt. Sometimes the pain will cascade into my lower thigh but really doesn’t go into my calf.
~ My leg (left only) retains a lot of water.
~ My leg goes tingly and the arch of my foot and a few of my toes will go numb – sometimes the bottom of my foot is numb for days.
~ The muscles in the back of my thigh are constantly very tight. My leg will feel anxious like I have to stretch it. I can’t lift it as high as the right leg due to the tightness.

Other things to take into consideration: I have lower back pain on my left side only. I had a scan of my back done and my spine looks a-okay (they thought it was my sciatic nerve). I am an accountant and sit most of the day; the pain is not like a charlie horse; it is a dull ache. I am 26 years old and have never had problems like this before.

    I need heeelp! Thank you!
